What is the band practice room?
The practice room is a space for Oxy students to write songs, practice, and jam! Located below the Norris Green patio, the room is fully backlined with PA system, drum set, bass amp, guitar amp, keyboard, microphones.
KOXY operates the practice room in partnership with REHS and SLICE.
How can I access the room?
Any Oxy student can use the practice room, but you must receive training and card access first:
- Attend a training session (every Sunday from 5-6pm in the Practice Room) and fill out our agreement form.
- KOXY will send your A# to card services so that you can access the room. Only the band leader and potentially a second student in the band will be granted card access.
- KOXY will email you confirming you have access.
- Sign up for time slots and start practicing!
