The practice room is a space for Oxy students to write songs, practice, and jam! Located below the Norris Green patio, the room is fully backlined with PA system, drum set, bass amp, guitar amp, keyboard, microphones. 

Any Oxy student can use the practice room, but you must receive training and card access first. See the “How to Get Access” tab below for more information on this process.

KOXY operates the practice room in partnership with REHS and SLICE.

You must book time slots to use the practice room. Please be respectful of booking times and leave by the end of your time slot. In order to leave space for all interested bands, you may book up to 3 hours in a row up to twice a week (up to 6 hours a week). 

Fill out the check in form at the beginning of your session.

Do not bring food or drinks inside the practice room.

Wrap all cables and put away equipment properly after your session (instructions are posted on the practice room walls if you need a reminder).

1. Fill out the interest form.

2. KOXY staff will contact you to set up a training session.

3. Complete training and fill out the Practice Room Agreement Form.

4. KOXY will send your A# to card services so that you can access the room. Only the band leader and potentially a second student in the band will be granted card access.

5. KOXY will email you confirming you have access.

6. Sign up for time slots and start practicing!
